W E LIJ NGTO N P U BLIP A X FINED. ; VEIt rr.ESS ASSOCIATION J Wellington, July- 24. Magistrate Riddell to day fined a local publican 20 - and costs for supplying liquor to a man on Sunday. The man had bought and paid for a bottle of beer on Saturday night. I and called for it <;n Sunday mornj ing. The facts were admitted, but the Magistrate held that at the time on which the man actually received the liquor he was not entitled to be supplied with it.
