IVDTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a A Poll of the Ratepayers of the Borough of Hastings will be taken on FRIDAY, the 14th day of March, 1913, upon the proposal “ That the system of rating on tin Unimproved A’alue be adopted and apply to AVater Rates. Electrit Lighting Rates, Sew age Rates, and Hospital and Charitable Aid Rates within the Borough of Hastings. The said Poll will commence at the hour of Nine o'cltn-k in the forenoon and close at Seven o’clock in the afternoon of the aforesaid day. The Polling Booths at which the Poli will he taken will be at the undermentioned places within the Borough, namely:— 1. The Borough Council Chamber, situate in Heretaunga street, Hastings. 2. Filling up and ieclainii:ig (including the purchase of the necessarv machinery and plant) all or any of the areas of land described in the First. Second and Third Schedules to the said Act. 2. Paying to the late Lessees of Te Whare-o-Maraenui Block the’suin ot £4OOO owing to them as part of the consideration for the surrender of their lease. TV’OTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that ' the partnership heretofore existing between SYDNEY (JORDON BILLOWS of Hastings, Aerated Water Manufacturer. and JAMES BUCKMAN ELMS HIRD of Tonioana. Fellmonger, carrying on business as Aerated Water Manufacturers at Hastings aforesaid, under the style or firm of “The Hawke's Bay Aerated Water Factory.” has been dissolved as from the third day of March, 1913, by mutual consent.
