WEDDING.

NORTHOVER— HANNING

A pretty wedding was solemnit- d at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Hastings, this morning. T se contracting parties were Mr. Harold Northover. son of Mr. Joseph Xorbiover, of Hamilton, formerly <;< Marton, and Miss Margaret Hanning, eldest daughter of Mr. John Hanning, stationmaster at Hastings. The ceremony was performed by the Bev. W. McDonald, of Waipukura i. The bride, who was given away I>y her father, looked winsome in a : r. sof white duchess satin trimmed wi:h pearl pmbroiderie and lace, aid square train. She also wore a beautiful veil, the gift of her grandparents, and carried a bouquet of white roses. The bridesmaids w<r? Miss Kate Hanning and Miss Mildred Northover. both of whom were beautiful dresses of white silk voile, with tunics of lace, and black picture hats. They also carried bouquets of pink roses. Mr. X. Drayton. of Taihapc acted as best man, and Mr. C. Hanning discharged the duties of groomsman. Mrs. Hanning, the bride's moth< :. was attired in a dress of grey xoi >. with fawn tagcl hat. and Mrs. Bt nnett. sister of the bridegroom, w.. p dove-coloured voile, with picture hat. After the ceremony at the church, a large number of guests were hospitably entertained at the residen e of the bride’s parents in Xels.m street, where the customary tca>ts .were honoured, and the newly married couple received the congratulations and good wishes of tb.t r friends.
