A CUNNING THIEF FOILED. (Received 24, 9.0 a.m.) Paris, Dee. 23. A carman named Schild picked up 1 case containing £6b,OUO in bank notes and scrip. A stranger claimed it, but Schild took it to the police station. The claimant failed to substantiate his etniiii and was arrested and searched, when two revolvers and a large knife were tound upon him.
