The Act conns into force on January Ist, and a number of land agents applied to the local court to be registered under it, but no bonds have been givcii, ns the forms being prepared -by the Justice Department have not yet come to' hand. AATrcn the question was raised in' the local court to-dav. Mi - . L. G. Reid. S.M.. said that as the Act did not come into force until January Ist he failed tc see what, jurisdiction the court had. Ho thought it. very improbable that the department would prosecute an agent if he yis not registered by January 2nd.
