George Miller was charged with failing to send his son to school ns 'required by the Education Act. Mr. Humphrtys appeared for the board and Air. Do’an for the defe.i■dant. Air. Dolan pleaded guilty, but. explained that the mother felt the boy i had been unjustly punished and that ' was whv she kept the lad at home. His Worship said tliai_ if the lad had been unduly punished the remedy was to pro-cod by action for assault. The punishment had nothing to do with the present er.se.- : Fined 5 - and costs 17 6.
