GROWERS PLEASE NOTE No Woal will be catalogued after the closing dates above fixed. For the DECEMBER and JANUARY SALES it has been found necessary, in the interexn of buyers and sellers alike, to lessen the number of small lots offered. Single and two bale lots will therefore be grouped so far as is possible. Reserves on these grouped lots and on all star lots (i.e., 2 bales and under) must be left to Brokers, and Owners’ lesenes cannot be accepted for DECEMBER and JANUARY SALES on star lots. BRANDS.—In order to comply with the demands of the Wool Buyers’ Association, wool bales must be branded with letters not less than three inches in length ; should rebranding have to be done after the wool arrives in store a charge w ill be made. WEIGHTS. —The Railway Department has decided that all bales over 4cwt will be charged rate and a half. Ligh terage will be charged on similat lines when the bales weigh over 3Jewts for scoured, and 4icwts for greasy wools. HANDLING CHARGE —id per lb to cover Receiving, Weighing, Lotting, Cataloguing, Advertising, Insurance in Store. Any lots passed in and not sold, a charge of 2/- per hale for offering will be made, and 1/- per bale if re-offered. F. J. Tonkin and Co. F. J. TONKIN & CO. ’Phone 513. P.O. Box 2uo.
