SWIMMING.

MANLY TEAM ARRIVE AT NAPIER. The team of swimmers from the Manly Club. Sydney, who are visiting the Dominion, arrived in Napier by the mail train last evening and were welcomed by the Mayor. Mr. J. Vigor Brown. M.P.. and a number of swimming enthusiasts. Later in the evening the visitors inspected the Municipal Baths and were agreeably surprised at the size of the building and the excellence of the arrangements. Mr. T. Roulston took the visitors in hand to-day and motored them to various places of interest in the district, and this evening they will be entertained at dinner by the Hastings YM.C.A. Swimming Club. Great interest attaches to the appearance of the team at the carniva in the Maddison Baths at Hastings this evening and a large crowd is expected.
