Single and two bale lots will therefore be grouped so far as is possible. Reserves on these grouped lots and on all star lots (i.e., 2 bales and under) must be left to Brokers, and Owners' reserves cannot be accepted for DECEMBER and JANUARY SALES on star lots. BRANDS.—In order to comply with tho demands of the Wool Buyers’ Association, wool bales must he branded with letters not less than three inches in length ; should rebranding have to be done after the wool arrives in store a charge will be made. WEIGHTS.—The Railway Department has decided that all bales over 4cwt will be charged rate and a half. Lighterage will be charged on similar lines when the bales weigh over 3jcwts for scoured, and newts for greasy wools. HANDLING CHARGE.—’d per lb to cover Receiving, Weighing, Lotting, Cataloguing, Advertising, Insurance in Store. 2. >iy lots passed in and not sold, a charge of 2/- per halo for offering will be made., and 1/- per bale if re-offered.
