MARCONI CONTRACT.

EVIDENCE BEFORE THE COMMITTEE. (Received 20. 9.10 a.m.) London, Nov. 19. At the Marconi Select Committee’s inquiry Sir D. Graaf said that South Africa adhered to the Imperial scheme, because the Marconi system was the only one to cover the distances. They would have withdrawn from the Imperial scheme if it involved experiments and delay.
