NEW SOUTH WALES. EIGHT HOURS’ BILL. [PRESS ASSOCIATION — COPYRIGHT.] Sydney. Nov. 12. In the Legislative Assembly the Eight Hours Day in Coal Mines Bill was read the third time. COMMONWEALTH. BILLS INTRODUCED. Melbourne, Nov. 12. In the House of Representatives, Mr. Hughes introduced the Referendum, Bill. Powers are asked for the Commonwealth to make laws dealing with industrial disputes , including State railways, and the control of trusts, combinations and monopolies. Another bill askes for power to nationalise certain industries, bust nesses and monopolies.
