Entries from as far afield as Palmerston North have, been received. and in the classes for roses the competition will be very keen, entries being very much in advance of former y<-ai s. For the McLernon challenge Bow] m the class for roses ; j f iiliie-i arc announced. The show 1.1 vegetables will be a very fine one. over 21) entries being i eceived in the class for potatoes alone. The show v. ill be opened io the public at 2.-30 p.m.. and aftciimoi’ tea can be procured on the premises. A band will inliven the proceedings during the < veiling.
