Orehardists Fm@d Here is a typical item that has been going the rounds of the nev/spapers— Wanganui. Monday, 6/8/12. At the Magistrate's Court this morning, four orcliardists, charged with failure to spray their fruit trees, were fined £2 and costs. Spraying is compulsory for the one tree man just as much as for the large growe>. and such fines are necessary 'v.e are to be saved from pests /♦. these men who were fined still merit a certain sympathy. All had sprayed more or less. One had sprayed three times just before he was fined. You see, he* had not used the right spray.
