ENTERTAINMENTS.
PRINCESS THEATRE, HASTINGS. The present programme will be shown for the last time to-night, when those who enjoy first-class pictures should st*.? it. The beautiful views of Plymouth are much admired, while the comics create hearty laughter. Intending patrons on show nights are advised to book their seats at Hall’s, as large numbers of people have always to he turned away. An additional attraction to-morrow night is the A.B. fighting drama, “A Temporary Truce.” Seats may be reserved in the dress circle for 16, and in the stalls for 1/-.
KING’S THEATRE, HASTINGS. To-night, at the King’s Theatre, the current programme will be screened for the last time. Patlie’s Gazette is a good number, while the scenics, “Train to Splato ” and “ Trip to Bermuda,” are both good pictures. “ Humble, Hero ” is the story of a marvellous dog that saves a man’s riches and brings the claim jumpers to justice. “ From Fireman to Engineer ” is an exciting picture, showing how a child was saved after a thrilling chase. “ Beetles ” is a sensational novelty, in which we see beetles dressed in boots and swords, fighting due’s, making love, running away with the king’s daughter, and doing other wonderful things. The amount of training these insects must have had to act these parts must have bean enormous. The comics are all well worth witnessing. To-morrow night there will be a complete change of programme. Seats can be booked at Hall and Son’s, booksellers, for Show Night for 6d extra. Patrons should book now to save disappointment.
