Jennings, of Christchurch, as the Canterbury College candidate for 1 lit 1 Rhodes scholarship of 1012. Mr. Jennings received his early education at. Nelson ('<>■. lege. lie obtained a junior university scholarship and proceeded to Canterbury College, where he graduated Master of Science, with second ('lass honours in ma 1 hemat ies an<l mathematical physics. He also holds the B.A. degree. He was nominated by the college last year, but was 0 unsuccessful. ’
