AN UNDESIRABLE.
Auckland, Sept. 28. Edward Hawkins, who was charged with the theft of a razor from a hotel is reported to have been four years in Vancouver Hospital and treated there for consumption. He worked his passage to New Zealand on the Makura and signed off her with ten shillings. which was soon spent. The Customs officials arranged to have the man returned to Vancouver by the Jlarama, and he left bv that vessel.
