THE TURKISH VISITATION
HUGE CASUALTY LIST.
London, Sept. 18.
The Turkish Ambassador announces that the earthquake which occurred in Turkey last month destroyed 32 buildings, 11,000 dwellings and shops, 35 mosques and churches in Gallipoli and the Redosto district, and partially wrecked 5000 dwellings. Eleven hundred and fifteen were killed and 2122 injured, while 29.000 required assistance.
