DEATH OF JOHNSON’S WIFE.
SUICIDES THROUGH LONELINESS.
(Received 13, 11.5 a.m.) New York, Sept. 12
Jack Johnson’s wife, who -shot herself yesterday, is dead. Before committing the deed she prayed with two coloured maids, asking mercy on her loneliness. Johnson says the woman was suffering from a nervous attack.
