SEDITION IN EGYPT.
EX-MINISTER COURT-MAR-TIALED. Cairo. Sept. 12. Seditious posters wore found on the Government buildings at Mansura. Constantinople, Sept. 12. The police searched prominent Young Egyptians’ houses at -Constantinople and seized a - number of documents. The court-martial sentenced Djavid Bey, late Minister of Finance, to twenty days and Hussein Djavid to a month for publishing an article in the “Tanin” abusing the Government for surrendering Shavvish.
