MANAIVATU TOURNAMENT.. Palmerston N., Sept. 11. There was good weather for the continuation of the Manawatu goif tournament. CHAMPIONSHIP. Two rounds of the championship were played with the following results :— Kurupo Tareha defeated IV. B. Colbeck, 4 and 3. D. G. Moore defeated J. Goss, 2 up and 2. A. Barraud defeated F. Gordon, 4 and 3. O. H. Bruce defeated T. D. Harman, 2 and 1. Imlay Saunders defeated J. B. Lusk, 3 and 2. H. B. Lusk beat Seifert and Kapi Tareha beat T. Crosse easily. A Seifert beat L. Seifert, 3 and In the afternoon, H. B. Lusk beat Saunders, I up. Barraud beat Kurupo, 1 up. Druce beat Moore. Kapi Tareha beat A. Seifert easily. Barraud meets Druce and Kapi Tareha meets Saunders in the semifinal. 18-HOLE BOGEY. H. Crosse (6), 3 up, won the 18hole bogey. J. R. McLennan (11), up, was second. STROKE HANDICAP.
