A house' in Dominion road was entered in the early hours of Saturday morning, the burglar securing a silver watch and a gold albert from one room ami a silver watch, a sovereign case and a lewshillings from another. Frederick William Schulter. who escaped from custody yesterday morning while waiting for his case. to come on in the Dunedin Police Court, and who was subsequently captured, pleaded guilty to six charges of forgery, and was commit - ted to the Supreme Court tor sentence. He cannot lie charged with escaping from legal custody, a ; inwas not under sentence tit the time.
