SPRAYING: THE NECESSITY AND THE LAW.
Fruitgrowers have to bow to the fact that spraying is hot only compulsory, but necessary. The man with a dirty orchard, however small, cannot hope for satisfactory results, and his trees become a menace to his neighbours. But spraying is futile whenever it is not positively effective. A little while ago, at Wanganui, a man was lined for not spraying, although he sword that he had sprayed three times quite recently, and once got a professional man to do the spraying. The law is that every fruitgrower, no matter how small, shall spray effectively, and you can only spray effectively with the right spray. Sherwin-Williams “ New Process ” Arsenate Of Lead is absolutely’ and infallibly effective. Kills all pests, and cannot possibly injure the fruit or foliage.
