General Mangin surprised one of El Hiba's encampments in the vicinity of Sukclaha and routed his forces with the bayonet. Native advices state that El Hiba has left Marrakesh and gone north. El Glawi handed him over the Frenchmen who were cut off in Marrakesh, El Hiba promising to escort them to the coast,
