MEMORIAL SERVICES. [ PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT. ] London, Aug. 26. Special memorial services were held in all Salvationist citadels, and General Booth’s favourite hymns sung. Many references to his lire and work were made in other places of worship, including tributes from Canon Newbould in St. Paul’s. Prebendary Carlisle in the Isle of ’Wight, and Father McKenna at Westminster Cathedral. (Received 27. 9.40 a.m.) Parth, Aug. 27. General Booth’s memorial service was attended by the Governor, the Bishop and members of the Ministry.
