PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.
REPORT PRESENTED TO THE GOVERNOR. Wellington, Aug. 26. The report of the Public Service Commission is now completed, and has been forwarded to the Governor. It is a very lengthy document, and as yet is only in manuscript. It will be printed during the course of the next few days and presented to Parliament. The report is a very complete enquiry into the organisation and administration of the service. It is expected that the Government’s Bill dealing with the reform of the public service will be circulated to-morrow. The Bill will be in charge of the Hon. A. L. Herdman.
