Quong Bung, occupier of the house, was fined £25 for keeping a common gaining house. Notice of appeal was given. Kip Duck was convicted of a similar offence and was fined £-10. Cases against one European and four t limese were dismissed and the remainder were fined £2 each. A Chinaman named Joe Bung came off the Arahaura this morning and was arrested by Detective Campbell. Opium was found in his possession. His frequent trips to Wellington aroused the Customs oA-cci-sf suspicions, with the above result. He appeared before the coart to-day and was fined £4O. -
