PETANE.
A movement is on foot to establish a branch of one of the benefit lodges ! in this district. The initiative is being taken in hand by Mr. Arnott and i already over 20 members have given j in their names, which it is under- ( stood is a sufficient number to estab-; lish a branch, but as it becomes more generally known no doubt the membership will be considerable- increased. We wish Mr. Arnott every success in his laudable undertaking, j The establishment of a lodge will be? followed by a resident medical practitioner which will be a great boon to the residents of Petane. and the I surrounding district.
