The "Pall Mall Gazette’s" Cairo correspondent reports that an expedition numbering 2500 is being organised to settle in the Soudan. It is likely to have trouble with the Annak and Guer tribes.
THE MULLAH ACTIVITY.
ANOTHER SOUDAN AVAR PROBABLE.

The correspondent of the "Observer” states that owing to the British withdrawal to the coast, the Mullah is practically the uncrowned King of Somaliland. He has ten thousand mounted followers, armed with rifles. He captured Bohottle and slaughtered a thousand men, women and children, ana now threatens Berbers, where there are only ten whites.
