HOTEL EMPLOYEES’ CONFERENCE.

Dunedin, Aug. 0. The hotel employees’ conference concluded this forenoon.

The Auckland remit urging the extension of award in country districts was adopted, and the conier(nee resolved to recommend the affected unions to take immediate Ceps in the-direction of applying for an award in the Otago and Well-i-rrtci country districts.

It was rer-olved to ask the cooperation of the Christchurch union, which is unaffiliated. Wellington was made the executive for the incoming terms, and rhe next conference is to be held there.

Delegates will wait on the Prenii?r at Wellingto next Monday.
