A MISDIRECTED SHELL. [ PRESS ASSOCIATION — COPYRIGHT. ] (Received 29, 8.35 a.m.) London, July 28. An enquiry is being held. VOLUNTEER AERIAL CORPS. (Received 29. 9.30 a.m.) Berlin, July 28, A volunteer corps of airmen is being formed in Germany. NEW ZEALAND CADETS. CANTERBURY TEACHERS PROTEST. Christchurch, July 28. At a meeting of junior cadet officers strong exception was taken to General Godley’s recent remarks. It was resolved, "That this meeting of North Canterbury junior cadet officers protest against any radical changes being made in the present system of junior cadet training, arid, further, that this meeting affirms the principle that the interests of the junior cadet movement will be best sorted by its remaining under the control of the Minister, of Education." At the annual meeting of the Educational Institute it was resolved, ■ That this institute protests against any radical change in the junior cadet system, and strongly protests against the unwarranted insult offered to the junior cadet officers of the Dominion by General Godley in his evidence before the Education Commission.”
