AK.X&I v. BARRY. NEW ZEALANDER OFF COLOUR (Received 23. 9.15 a.m.) London, July 22. Arnst’s illness was caused by eating tinned food. He sculled twice daily throughout his indisposition and is rapidly recovering weight. He has not yet acquired his best form, but critics predict he will become a warm favourite before the race on the 29th inst. ARNST PLEASED WITH HIS BOAT. (Received 23, 11.15 a.m.) Sydney. July 23.
