His stomach and brain are affected. He was unconscious yesterday. The Mikado’s illness is closely related to a long standing disease of the kidneys. He was delirious and in a high fever yesterday, and drowsy to-day. There is still ground for hope. A constant stream of callers visit the palace, and prayers arc being made in the Buddhist temples and Busi sian Cathedral for Lis.recovery. The earlier bulletins are viewea with misgivings owing to a custom, now less frequent, of postponing the announcement of death. Prices on the stock exchange fell five points, but rallied at the dose, j HIS CONDITION WORSE. . Tckio, July 21. (Received 22, 8.45 a.m.) A pessimistic bulletin has been issued showing the condition of the I Mikado is worse.
