The secretary forwarded particulars of the thirty-three sections sold at last week’s sale.—Received. Mr. Jull said the sale had been very, very satisfactory. On November last, after advertising in all the newspapers, a sale had been held and only 11 sections sold. This year the total capital value on the sections disposed of was £4493/13/4. He congratulated the board upon the sale as not only' would they now receive rates and rents, but would be relieved of paying borough rates. In reply to Mr. McGrath, the secretary said last year they sold 11 sections ,this year 33. The cost of the sale last year was practically three times as much as this year.
