The usual monthly meeting of th; Vlahora School Committee was hek' ast night. Present : Messrs Robert ion (chair). Love, Todd. Pratt, an’ Sinclair. The headmaster reported for th-, nontli ending July 15th an averag' ittendance of 265. Colds and mump! n the district spoiled the averagi ittendance. Stationary fees amounting to f’: 5 - were handed in. The Hazard target had arrived an,' t was decided to erect an open iro auk on top of a mound when pra ■ ising. Various necessary works an vants were authorised. The annual social and dance waixed for .August 23rd in the I)r : i Hall, a meeting of parents and tho“ nterested being called for 3 p.m. > Wednesday 17th hist in the school oom. Arrangements were made for th ’clebration of Arbor Day by th flanting of shelter trees and shrub by the pupils. Accounts amounting to £2l 4 j vere passed for payment. Visiting Committee for the mont!
