HAWKE’S BAY KENNEL CLUB.
ANNUAL SHOW. The annual show of the Hawke’s Bay Kennel Club will be held at the Drill Hall, Napier, on Wednesday and Thursday next. The entries are larger and better than before jind the prospects for a record show are distinctly bright. Miss Kettle, of Napieri will be exhibiting strongly in the Persian cat classes, and as a number of her entries are recent importations they will make a show in themselves. Mr. Hugh McDonald, of Puketapu. has given a fat sheep for a weightguessing competition, and a trophywill be given to the winner A purebred smooth fox terrier ouppy presented by Mr. M. A. Smith will become the property of rhe person who guesses nearest to the dog's weight. The show will be open to the public from 2 o’clock on Wednesday.
