July 12. At the inquest on Joseph Denton, an old man-o’-warsman who diel suddenly at Pcriawa, the jury returned a verdict that deceased died from a foreign hotly, probably a piece of decayed tooth or shell from the beach, doubtless no bigger than a pin’s head, which had lodged i.i the right lung, causing a stoppage of the respiratory process. The jure expressed the opinion that the foreign body was probably inhaled while deceased teas employed on the stone crusher. SUICIDE OF A MINER. Auckland, July 12.
