AMAZON ATROCITIES.
MORE RUBBER SCANDALS. (Received 10, 10.15 a.m.) New York, July 9. A United States agent has been despatched to inquire into the conditions in the Upper Amazon in connection with outrages on the natives engaged ii the rubber trade. The despatches which have been received by the State Department confirm the reports of the atrocities published England.
