BIG RECORD OF FATALITIES.

(Received 6, 12.50 p.m.) New York, July 5. The usual crop of fatalities followed the Fourth of July celebrations. Hundreds of persons are in the hospitals throughout the country as a result of injuries by crackers and bombs.

A balloonist named Moore, making a parachute descent during the_celebrations at Newark, New Jersey” was killed, falling a thousand feet. An inter-urban car at Talsi. Oklahoma, laden with a hundred picnickers .collided with another car and five were killed and many injured. A motor cycle ran amok at Salt Lake City, killed its rider, dashed into a crowd of spectators at the motor drome, and injured seven. Automobile collisions and eapsizings have been numerous, causing many deaths. A negro celebration at Chicago, in honour of Johnson’s voctory, ended in a riot. The police charged and effected numerous arrests.
