In the race for the Grand Challenge Cup at Henley, Sydney and Canada were practically level for three-quarters of a mile, then the Australians forged ahead and led at the mile b; half a length. Rowing splendidly together and with great power, they won b.\ 1} lengths; Time, "minutes 1 second. (Received 5. 11.0 a.m.) Aust, alia beat Canada by a length and a quarter. [The winning crew are the New South AVales Rowing Association team who are on their way to compete in the Olympic race at Stockholm, on July 1« and 19. They entered at Hcnlev as the Sydney Rowing Club in order to come under the Henle;, rules that the members of a competing crew must all belong to one club for at least two months before entering. Fitzharding is the stroke of the team.]
