PRINCESS THEATRE, HASTINGS

There are sonic excellent comedies in the current programme, and “ Scandal at Pollidqr's ” is one of the best. It is mirth provoking, and would make the most depressed individual laugh. “The Moonshiners " is an excellent drama, and “The Three Grenadiers” is another. The scenic, “ Egyptian Ruins,” iis most beautifully coloured. It is a | very artistic piece of photography. The other firns are all good. KING’S THEATRE, HASTINGS. On Saturday night another good audience attended at the King’s Iheatre, when another excellent programme was screened. “Production of Honey” is an interesting picture, giving a good insight into up-to-date bee fanning. “ Berlin Fire Brigade ” shows this well-equipped brigade at work. “On the Banks of the Danube ” is a beautiful scenic film. “ The Prospector’s Legacy” shows much of the life out West. “ Law and the Lady ” is a Vitagraph drama, showing how a man’s honour triumphed over the power of gold. “ Playmates ” is another drama by the Vitagraph Company, in which their wonderful dog takes a leading part. “ Mexican Courtship ” is another good dramatic subject. The comics are exceedingly funny. They are entitled “ Cure for Jealousy,” “Baby Tramp,” and “ Teddy, Champion Cyclist.” The same selection will be screened this evening. OLYMPIA RINK, HASTINGS. To-night the rink will be open as usual. The sessions have now been rearranged. In the afternoons the rink will he open from 2.30 to 4.30, and in the evenings from 7.30 to 10.5. The learners’ room will be kept specially for learners during these sessions. On the 2!th of this month a grand Black and White Carnival will be held, when prizes will be given for different events. The audience should be able to see at this carnival what effect the. exhibition of Athos and Read has had in Hastings.
