The Government Meteorologist’s forecast for the 21 hours from 9 a.m. this day is as follows: — Moderate to strong south-easterly winds prevailing, but winds are decreasing. Indications for showery and changeable weather, tut fair weather prevailing, and a very cold night may he expected. Glass rise. RAINFALL. The rainfall recorded at Hastings for the 21 hours ended 9 a.m. to-day was .53 inch.
