COURT OF APPEAL.
I FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. J Wellington, June 1. The Appeal Court, opened this morning. Judge Williams presided and Judges Denniston and Edwards were also present. Einnl leave for appeal to the Privy Council was granted in the following oases -Pitcaitsley v. McLean ; Kauri Timber Co. v. Commissioner of Taxes; Taupo-Tota’ - a Timber Co. v. Commissioner ot Taxes ; Dalgetv and Co. v. the Solicitor-Genera! in two special cases under the Public Trust Office Act. The Court intimated that owing to tho importance of the questions laiscd in the last named case, they considered the Law Society should represent the side of the general public.
