Mclvor scored cleverly for Hastings and Kemp converted. During che second half Card got down and scored a second try for Hastings, but ths efforts at goal by Mangu were unsuccessful. The game ended —Hastings 8, Na pier 0. Mr. Bickenson held the whistle. The Manawatu-Hawke’s Bay match now taking place and there is a large attendance of the public.
