This morning the horses attached to the Napier and Taradale ’bus bolted in Tennyson street. The driver, however, was able to pull them up, and no injury was caused to pedestrians or vehicle. The sale by Messrs. Lundon, Stewart and Co., Ltd., on account of the District Engineer of New Zealand Railways, of the lease of a business site containing 14.8 perches, and having a frontage to Station street of about 50 feet, which was to have been held this afternoon, was cancelled. When having your next portrait or group taken, visit the up-to-date Tesla Studios, Heretaunga street, Hastings, where you can obtain all the latest English and American styles at city prices. Wedding groups a speciality at studios or your own house. Enlargements made from any photo in black and white, sepia oils, or water colours. R. Illingworth, manager. ’Phone 315
