SHOOTING SEASON. HAWKE’S BAY DISTRICT. rriHE SHOOTING SEASON commences on MAY Ist, and closes on JULY 31st, both days inclusive. The following imported game may be taken in this district: —Cock Pheasants and Californian Quail. Licenses to kill such imported game in the said district shall be issued to any person on the payment of the license fee of £l. Licenses may be obtained from the Chief Postmaster, Napier, and the Postmasters at Waipawa, Woodville, Dannevirke, Hastings, Waipukurau, Norsewood, Ormondville, Porangahau, Wimbledon, and Takapau, who are hereby appointed to sign and issue such licenses to kill imported game.
