Melbourne, June 19.

At the conference of evangelical clergy in Victoria, Rev. Baker urged they should do their utmost to Christianise the Labour movement. Morality in the past had been tdS individualistic. They should study the mind of the working-man to a larger extent and get away from the bloodless intellectualism governing the world. The Labour movement which was a business enterprise must be Christianised, otherwise, the very existence of the Church was threatened.
