Sydney, June 7. Burglars rifled a shop at Alexandria and got £7. Thieves smashed the door of a house at Cronulla and secured £3O. BURGLAR BAILED UP BY A YOUTH. (Received 8, 10.15 a.m.) Sydney, JuneJS. The premises of the Pioneer Spring Company were broken into by burglars and a sum of money : was stolen. A Launceston youth bailed up last night a masked man who fired when the youth rushed at him. The first shot missed, another went through the youth’s finger, but after a struggle ths assailant decamped. CRACKSMEN IN ADELAIDE. Adelaide, June 8. Hearing burglars in his hotel, a licensee fired a shot through his bedroom door, and the robbers fled. Three shops in Kadina were entered, but little value was got by the burglars.
