PERSONAL
Airs. Arthur Williams, Te Ante, is at present visiting Napier. Air. and Airs. Shirley of Auckland, are at present on a visit to Napier. Air. A. 'S. Paterson, of Weilington, arrived in Napier last night on a short visit.
Air. Lomas, Chief Inspector of Factories, arrived in Napier from Gisborne this morning and left by morning train for Wellington, Cr. E. Crowley, of Napier, is at present confined to his house through illness. 1 It is expected to be at least a week before he can return to his office.
The death occurred at Neepawa in Manitoba, of John de Apsey, aged 97, the oldest Freemason in, the world. He had been a Freemason since he was twenty-one. —Press Association.
The Hon. Arthur AL Myers (Minister of Railways) together with his private secretaries, and the Traffic Superintendents, left Napier by the express, ti ain this morning for Auckland. . \
