The delegates representing the conference of Education Boards waited on the Minidcrof Education . o-day and pl;:ei'<l before him the resolutions passed by the conference.
The Hon. .J. A. Hanan said a statement xvould be made by the Minister in charge ol the Local Government Bill to the efft'cl that an enquiry was about to lx* set up dealing with the cost of edueat ion both primary, manual, and technical. He hoped that national education would always lx- kept above party or faction.
