The robbery boom continues. A number of cases were reported today.

A BRAVE MANSERVANT

FAILS TO SECURE HIS MAN

Sydney, May 21

Early this morning, Gleeson, a manservant in Mrs. Burdekin’s house in MacQuarrie street, discovered a masked armed man on the premises. Despite the threat made by the man to shoot, Gleeson closed xvith the intruder. In the struggle the burglar’s revolver xvent off, narrowly missing Gleeson. The burglar escaped.
